Henry David Thoreau: Spiritual Minimalist
Writing well over a century ago, the American Transcendentalist Henry David Thoreau clearly had a sense of what we have previously (see blog post from 11/8/23) referred to as Epistemological Humility and Spiritual Minimalism, when in defining religion in his journal entry of August 18,1858, he wrote: “What is religion? That which is never spoken.”
